Hopefully there is a "buy button" to the left, from the Ecommerce site www.shopify.com. |
"How does it work?"A mathematician never reveals his secrets. But you can buy one above (Where to buy Guide) and see it for yourself. FAQ ("Possible, Frequently Asked Questions")
Q) Will I get an up arrow, or a down arrow, if I look at its reflection in a mirror?
Q) If I take it to a different hemisphere on earth, will the arrow point up or down?
Q) Does it have a party trick?
Q) How many arrows are in the web page's logo? A) No. The arrow has all the food and water it needs, already locked in. But it might get lonely. So you can buy another one HERE (Where to buy Guide) Q) Can I show my friends the arrow jail? A) Yes, you can. But they might steal it. It might be a good idea to have a few extra, on standby. Just in case. You can buy an emergency standby arrowjail, or maybe two HERE (Where to buy Guide) Q) "It's a bit expensive" Yes. Currently it takes 5+ hours to make a single jail (down from the prototype build time of 6 hours). And that's after the computational code has run, which is about 12 hours per iteration. Then, after tax (in all of its forms), distribution and "Ecommerce market place/credit card" fees I am amazed anyone can make a profit in manufacturing at all. But you don't care about that. You just want a lower price. I did my best. But new things cost a lot to develop. Most products don't even make it, and are quickly withdrawn from the market. Sometimes, just after launch. Hurry, get yours HERE, while you still can. (grin) Q) What's your next project? A) I want to adapt the technology to create a safety sign for the back of trucks. The idea is that, you only see the warning sign when you are doing the wrong thing. The obvious one is the "You're too close" sign. But the really interesting idea, is a warning sign that is only visible, if you are overtaking a turning truck. This type of manoeuvre causes 2.1% of road fatalities per year. Problem is, I need financial backing and contacts in government to take the idea forward. There is a lot of red tape for this product. Hence the Arrow Jail project to fund it. |
